News: Slovenian Ilirika first "remote" member 18.08.2026. 14:39 Slovenian investment firm ILIRIKA borzno posredniška hiša d.d. from Ljubljana has become a new member of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, through remote access (remote membership), making it the first foreign investment firm to acquire such status on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. We are pleased to welcome Ilirika as the first "remote" member of the Zagreb Stock Exchange. In addition to being a concrete step towards stronger connection of the Croatian and Slovenian capital markets, it is particularly significant because it expands the circle of international brokers who can provide investors with easier access to the Croatian market. At the same time, the fact that Croatian members have been present on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange for many years, and now we also have a member from Slovenia on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, shows that market connection can work excellently in both directions at this level as well, said Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Acquiring member status in itself does not yet mean the start of trading, but Ilirika is obliged to fulfill the conditions for admission to trading prescribed by Article 22 of the Exchange Rules no later than three months from the date of the decision on admission to membership, when it will be able to start providing trading services on the Zagreb Stock Exchange to its clients. Ilirika is one of the leading Slovenian investment firms with over 35 years of experience in the capital markets, and the accession of the first foreign investment firm to the Zagreb Stock Exchange further confirms the openness of the Croatian market to international market participants and the potential for cross-border connection of regional capital markets.
